Have you ever been to eastern royal palace? You may not know about eastern royal palace, but you will be caught up at the moment you see the Gyeongbokgung, Korean royal palace.
Gyeongbokgung, chosen dynasty’s biggest royal palace is located in central Seoul. It is composed of many walls, doors and buildings. It is surrounded by mountains. There are beautiful garden, lake, and cottage.
To tell the truth, Gyeongbokgung was burned at 16C because of Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592. After the war, it was rebuilt at 19C. But because of Japanese imperialism and Korean War, it was damaged again. So Korea is repairing Gyeongbokgung.
There is funny story about Gyeongbokgung. Kings believed Gyeongbokgung had extraordinary aura, so they avoided living there nevertheless Gyeongbokgung was main palace.
